Lighting Tour of Karrinyup Shopping Centre with UNIOS

13/07/2022 5:00 PM- 7:30 PM AWST

OVERVIEW:

You are invited to a tour of Karrinyup shopping centre on Wednesday 17th July from 5pm where Brad Swansen, Unios’ residential electrical and lighting specialist, with input from Damien DeWind from Mondaluce will be taking our members through the why, how and what of the incredible lighting project at the new shopping centre. Both Brad and Damien worked with AMP Capital to create the lighting that was needed for the Karrinyup shopping centre.

The tour will include the why and what of the lights used in Karrinyup, what they were trying to achieve with the lighting and a look into what constitutes good and bad retail lighting. It will also touch on lighting techniques used in Karrinyup and best practice for large scale commercial projects. There is also a large outdoor section that will touch on the perfect lighting for those spaces during the different times of day. Overall, the main focus will be taking a tour of shopping centre and discussing the types of lights and the reason for their placement.

The tour will conclude after sunset in the West Deck, showcasing a fantastic alfresco lighting solution followed by a networking opportunity where DMN has reserved a space at Good Company bar and restaurant.
All members will need to sign in at security and wear your printed visitor pass during the tour, these details will be sent to those who register. With only 25 spots available, make sure you book your place asap!
