Ahead of the adoption of Whole of Home provisions, this webinar Presenter Karim Ghobrial will unravel the mysteries and intricacies and bust the myths of solar power generation and onsite storage. Attendees will learn how to evaluate and advise clients on the best use of solar power to meet any necessary offset requirements.

The webinar will cover:

  • Overview of whole of home online assessment
  • How to use whole of home
  • Using solar power panels
  • Sizing solar power panels
  • Using all electric appliances with solar power panels
  • Using a combination of both gas and electric appliances with solar power panels

Learning Outcomes:

  • Assessors will be equipped to offer advice and guidance to clients on how much solar may be required to meet any necessary offset
  • Assessors will be equipped to offer consultancy services to guide building designers to leverage solar to help meet Whole of Home compliance

SPEAKER:

Karim Ghobrial is the founder and director of Efficient Energy Choices, which has been assessing residential and commercial projects since 2010. Prior to this, he was an Electrical/Electronics Engineer for 10 years. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and a strong passion for what he does. During his studies, Karim's completed an award winning thesis paper on renewable energy entitled "The New Power From the Sun".

He loves to see his clients very satisfied. Karim is keen to help educate both clients and trades within the industry. Karim enjoys boxing and soccer and he is a husband and a father of three beautiful boys, along with a lovely black Labrador.
