OVERVIEW:

Anthony Wright will provide an overview of the new RapidRate, CSIRO’s tools for existing dwellings. The tool  will come into play for In Home Assessments.

The webinar will cover:

  • NatHERS and existing building ratings
  • What is RapidRate?
  • How does it work?
  • How will RapidRate interact with NatHERS?
  • Demonstration of RapidRate.
  • Demonstration of MagicPlan.

  • Understand the many possible audiences for existing dwelling ratings
  • Understand possible future direction for assessment of existing dwellings
  • Gain insight into tools and approaches to unlocking ‘green’ finance

Anthony Wright

Anthony Wright leads the Building Energy Efficiency Team at CSIRO, responsible for the development of the NatHERS benchmark tool AccuRate. In the last 5 years Anthony has overseen the development of the Australian Housing Database, the redevelopment of AccuRate as a cloud tool, the implementation of new whole-of-house regulations under the NCC2022, development of the NatHERS benchmark tool for disclosure, development of the RapidRate artificial intelligence,  a social science program which underpinned the Renovate or Rebuild television program, and many other residential energy efficiency projects. Prior to his current role Anthony worked in State Government and in architecture practises as a building designer and project manager, always with a focus on energy efficient residential design.
