Position Description
Architect – Building Designer REALM Building Design is a multi-disciplinary design practice in regional Victoria. We design homes, interiors, and landscapes as well as heritage and specific boutique commercial projects for our Clients in beautiful rural locations across Victoria and NSW. We are looking for a design professional whose values align with ours, and is committed to creating exceptional, individual buildings for our Clients. Our person enjoys the creative process and bringing projects to life. A friendly disposition will assist in working alongside our clients on their design journey. Extensive construction knowledge, an understanding of how buildings are built and the ability to communicate that in clear, concise, meaningful documentation is what will fit the expectations of this position. With experience under your belt, you understand the importance of accuracy, attention to detail, the project lifecycle and can effectively use REVIT to prepare plans suitable for Concept, Town Planning and Construction purposes. Your experience in residential projects has you up to speed on compliance with the rules and regs of which you interpret and consider as you prepare the project documentation with minimal assistance. Thinking outside the square, problem solving and driving projects towards the outcomes is something you embrace and demonstrate in your work. Your creative side is shines through with your ability to use Enscape or Lumion to bring projects to life on the page. This position enjoys flexibility in work hours and the ability to work from home.
