The changes to NCC 2022 for new homes meant that the VBA Practice Note EE04 for existing homes had to be updated too. Fortunately, the Department of Climate Change Energy Efficiency and Water sought advice from NatHERS assessors and DMN members: Tony Isaacs and Matthew Graham on how this should be done. Their report was one of the resources used by VBA to help craft the Practice Note.
Come to the Alts & Adds CPD on EE-04 to hear from Tony about what changes were made, why they were made, and what difference it makes to rating targets. It’s not straight from the horse’s mouth – that’s VBA – but it's certainly from the feed bag!
Who should attend: All Building Designers, Architects and Energy Efficiency Assessors who carry our Alterations and Additions work in Victoria.
Having worked extensively with DELWP and VBA to iron out some of the 'kinks', DMN now brings you not only the most up to date version of EE04 and its interpretation, our very own Tony Isaacs will provide you with his inside knowledge on the application and optimisation of EE04 for your projects to the minimum 7 star standards.
Tony's best advice to all members is this: Meeting the 7 star and whole of home standard will take practice, so we are here to help you successfully launch your Professional Practice into the NCC 2022 realm.
