Rogier
Voorhoeve -
Builder Designer / StudioRogier
I’m Rogier
Voorhoeve, a Dutch-trained architect, building designer, and founder of
StudioRogier, based in the Adelaide. Since starting the practice in 2012, I’ve
been passionate about creating homes that respond to their landscape, climate,
and the people who live in them.
Sustainability
sits at the heart of my work. I enjoy designing modern homes that use passive
solar principles, natural materials, and simple, thoughtful details to create
comfortable and enduring places to live.
My approach
is shaped not only by design but also by hands-on building experience. As the
owner-builder, builder, and designer of my Goolwa Home, I gained a deep
appreciation for the realities of construction and the importance of practical,
well-resolved design. This experience helps me bridge the gap between concept
and construction, ensuring my projects are both beautiful and buildable.
I believe
the best outcomes come from collaboration. Working closely with clients,
builders, and consultants allows me to create homes with a strong sense of
place—homes that feel connected to their environment and enrich everyday life.
