Over the past 15 years, Darren has developed a wide range of technical and business development expertise covering the assessment, delivery and management of Building Physics consultancy. Authored 50 + articles in blogs, in the media and publications on the subject of Building Physics and its role in architecture and engineering, Darren has advised the ABCB, ClimateWorks, the Green Building Council of Australia on matters of energy efficiency and managed the Australian Passive House Association as the 2017/18 Chairperson.

Today, here resides as the Chief Building Physics Nerd @ Fabric First, providing Building Physics consultancy services locally and Internationally. In addition, he is a Director at Speckel, a new platform developed for the Australian market to support the adoption of ‘better buildings’ and the recent changed to the National Construction Code 2019 Vol 1.
