Position Description
We seek to employ a motivated Architectural Draftsperson with a minimum of 12 months professional experience. THE ROLE: The successful applicant will be responsible for taking projects through all aspects of drafting and documentation. This includes, but is not limited to: - Preparation and completion of construction documentation - Resolution of construction details - Liaison with consultants and statutory bodies - Assist in obtaining relevant approvals across the project life cycle - Support for general contract administration SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS: - Competent Auto Cad user - Relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum 12 months professional experience - Competent commercial/ industrial project drafting skills are essential - Strong construction knowledge and attention to detail - Sketch Up and Photoshop skills desirable - An understanding of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards - Effective communication and time management skills - Self starter and proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously - Flexible and comfortable performing a variety of tasks across the project
