A webinar presenting
the new features and benefits of the updated existing homes energy assessment certificate
and climate zone specific upgrade guidance.
An updated version of the Existing
Homes Energy Rating Certificate is going live on 1 July, alongside a
range of comms resources aimed to help assessors talk to homeowners about
energy upgrades.
This webinar is to help
understand how the existing homes certificate will change from 1 July. The most
significant change being the inclusion of more home-specific upgrade guidance,
and the recently announced Home Energy Rating branding.
This webinar will cover:
- What is changing on the Existing Homes
certificate from 1 July;
- How the new home-specific upgrade
guidance works, including the logic behind how their AccuRate inputs
change the upgrade advice generated on the certificate
- How assessors can explain the upgrade
guidance to householders
·
- Explanation
of how the system intelligently decides what advice is printed on the
certificate and what isn’t
- The supporting resources that will be
available (including a certificate guide document, upgrade guidance
material, and per-climate-zone fact sheets and upgrade examples)
- How these resources can help assessors
have practical conversations with householders about possible upgrades.
