The True Zero Carbon Challenge invites building designers, architects and NatHERS assessors to look beyond minimum standards and explore what future-ready housing can achieve. Through the challenge, teams tackle the realities of energy efficiency, embodied carbon, climate targets and project delivery, creating practical solutions for a rapidly evolving industry.
The Awards Night brings these ideas to life. Participating teams will present their projects live, sharing the design thinking, performance outcomes and lessons learned throughout the challenge before the announcement of the 2026 winners.
